PROEM is a brand founded in 2026 by Korean-born designer Soo Lee.

Drawing inspiration from writers and artists who have built distinct creative worlds, PROEM continues to develop a language of its own.

Rather than illustrating these sources directly, PROEM translates them into objects.

Forms remain simple, yet each piece carries traces of a thought, a sentence, or a moment of reflection.

The name PROEM refers to a short introductory text placed at the beginning of a book — a preface that opens a space before the story begins.

In a similar way, the objects created by PROEM are concise in form yet layered in meaning, leaving space for interpretation and personal association.

After spending several years in New York, she is currently based in London, where she continues to develop the evolving language of the brand.
